ABOUT
Bev Supanick started playing racquetball in college in order to help her try to make her college basketball and softball teams. Although unrecruited and lightly regarded as a high school athlete, playing racquetball enabled Bev the walk-on to start at shortstop and catcher and bat .325 for the Women's Softball Team, and to make the historic nationally ranked (#4) Juniata College Women's Basketball Team.
She continued with racquetball after college and became nationally ranked in this sport also.(#7, A division), and was selected for the 1990 and 1995 Elite Training Camp at The Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. From 1996 to 1999 she completed 2 seasons on the Women's International Racquetball Tour, attaining a January 1999 season high ranking of 13.
As a professional coach for 13 years, Bev has earned a reputation for helping players of all levels to improve their games and overcome injuries. She earned the AMPRO certification, professional designation, by passing stringent hitting and rules tests and going through difficult lesson simulations with other professional instructors. This was over several years, not just a few classes. Recently at Yale University Bev completed a similar course to achieve a Level 1 Basic Squash Certification. Bev's years of experience and expertise enable her to help motivate her clients to overcome whatever obstacles they may be facing.
